Hand in hand to discuss how the system is connected in series with the microphone?

In today's fast-paced society, the rapid advancement of science and technology has significantly enhanced the frequency and efficiency of meetings. As a result, various types of hand-in-hand microphones have become widely used in both large-scale and small gatherings, as well as round-table discussions, making communication more seamless and effective. A hand-in-hand microphone is a key component of a conference discussion system, allowing multiple participants to speak and exchange ideas during meetings. Each speaker is equipped with a dedicated microphone, which connects in series to a central controller. This setup enables participants to take turns speaking, engage in simultaneous discussions, and maintain smooth communication throughout the meeting. The typical hand-in-hand conference system includes several essential components: - **Conference Chairperson:** This unit allows the chair or moderator to have priority in speaking and can also mute other participants when necessary. - **Representative Speakers:** These units enable delegates to request the floor, queue for their turn, and listen to others during the discussion. - **Conference Host:** It acts as the control center, receiving instructions from the chairperson and managing the individual delegate units. - **Peripherals:** Additional equipment such as audio systems, amplifiers, mixers, frequency shifters, power sequencers, and wireless microphones support the overall functionality of the system. The hand-in-hand conference system operates by connecting microphones in a serial manner. The first microphone is linked to the conference host, and then each subsequent microphone is connected in sequence, forming a chain-like structure. This configuration gives the system its name. All microphones are powered through phantom power, and the amplifier and speaker sections function similarly to traditional systems, with the main differences being in the microphone and host units. This system typically supports 20 to 25 microphones. However, when too many are active at once, the volume tends to drop significantly. Therefore, it’s important not to increase the mixer’s gain excessively. The more microphones that are turned on, the lower the individual volume becomes, and vice versa. When only a few are active, the sound can become too loud, leading to potential feedback or distortion. To avoid this, it’s advisable to limit the number of simultaneous users—such as allowing only two or four microphones to be active at a time. When a fifth is activated, the first one should be automatically muted. Using a Xungu dual-channel 31-band equalizer can effectively manage these issues, ensuring clear and balanced audio throughout the meeting.
