These agreements include long-term supply agreements and several HexaTech intellectual property licenses. The former involves OSRAM's long-term procurement of HexaTech's aluminum nitride substrates and direct support for HexaTech's 2-inch (diameter) substrate development projects, which are part of HexaTech's license for OSRAM-licensed intellectual property.
As the world's leading supplier of aluminum nitride substrates, HexaTech has built a large patented knowledge base in the fields of optoelectronics, high power and RF applications with its proprietary materials, which can help OSRAM accelerate the development of UV-CLED devices.

What is UV-CLED?
