I. Welding operation posture and hygiene

Two. Five-step training

As a training method for beginners to master the manual soldering technology, the five-step method is effective and worthy of being discussed as a separate section.

Many electronic enthusiasts re-run a welding operation method, that is, first use a soldering iron tip to apply some solder, and then place the soldering iron on the solder joint to wait for the solder to wet the soldering.

This method is not the correct method of operation. Although this can also weld the weldment, it does not guarantee the quality. It is not difficult to understand this from the soldering mechanism we know.

As shown in Figure 3, when we melt the solder on the soldering iron tip, the solder flux is on the surface of the solder. Since the temperature of the soldering iron is generally above 250 °C-350 °C, before the soldering iron is placed on the solder joint, The rosin flux will continue to volatilize, and when the soldering iron is placed on the solder joint, the soldering temperature will be low, and the heating will take some time. During this time, the flux is likely to evaporate most or even completely, so it is moist due to the lack of flux during the wetting process. Poor wet. At the same time, due to the difference in temperature between the solder and the weldment, the bonding layer is not easily formed, and it is difficult to avoid the virtual welding. Moreover, the solder is easily oxidized after the protection of the flux, and the quality is not guaranteed.
