Microsoft's Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC) in Shenzhen today announced that it will combine Windows 10 and ARM architecture with Qualcomm partners and work with Intel on the Project Evo program to create new features such as hybrid reality.
The Microsoft WinHEC Hardware Engineering Community was held today in Shenzhen, China, with approximately 500 representatives and media representatives.
Terry Myerson, Microsoft's executive vice president of Windows and devices, said he is in the hardware engineering creator community of WinHEC and feels full of energy. Myerson said that with Microsoft's free software update for Windows 10Creators Update and its partnership with Qualcomm and Intel, Microsoft was able to create new technologies and devices.
In order to fulfill and meet the growing needs of customers, Microsoft announced that it will combine Windows 10 and ARM processor architecture through cooperation with Qualcomm partners.
According to Microsoft, this is the first time that customers will be able to experience the enterprise capabilities they know about Windows-related applications, peripherals and needs, as well as the real mobile, power-saving and always-on mobile computer devices.
Microsoft said that hardware device partners will also build a series of new Windows 10 devices, equipped with Qualcomm's latest processor QualcommSnapdragon, support for x86 and Win32, and Universal Windows Apps, including: Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office and popular Windows games. In addition, Microsoft announced at the conference that it will cooperate with Intel under the code name Project Evo. Microsoft pointed out that through cooperation with Intel, future devices will be able to use the innovations of both parties. Microsoft has further stated that game innovations include e-sports, live game support 4K, high dynamic range (HDR), wide color gamut (WCG), spatial sound and native support for Bluetooth Xbox controllers.
Microsoft emphasizes that working with Intel will bring this experience to millions of computer and head-mounted display device customers and set new standards for Windows computers to create more possibilities.
