Investment overheating excess capacity

The overheated wave of LED investment has caused quality problems in two aspects:

First of all, if the quantity is too much, the manufacturer's miscellaneous products will cause the products to be mixed. As the saying goes, there are all kinds of birds in the forest. There are many LED market companies scattered, the brand may be as many as thousands, but not really trust the brand. A large number of various types of capital inflows, the quality, capability, experience, and management of the company are all uneven, which leads to a great difference in the quality of the output products.

Secondly, LED lighting has not been able to start the civilian market because of high prices, unstable quality, and cost-effectiveness. The market is not expected to be large. However, the influx of capital has led to overcapacity, triggered frequent price wars, and even once a month quoted the phenomenon. In the domestic market, better LED light bulbs cost 50 to 60 yuan, and even better, 100 yuan. The difference is only 3.5 yuan. How can product quality be guaranteed under such a turbulent price dispute? According to industry experts, "The quality of LED products under 30 yuan is hard to guarantee."

Lack of technical talent

Data show that 70% of LED product failures are caused by the problem of the core component, the driving power supply.

The limited technology affects the quality of the product to a great extent, and the lack of technical personnel in the LED lighting industry must be taken seriously. However, contrary to the booming development in this industry, the current domestic counterpart training has been far from keeping up, and there are many empirical talents in the industry, and there are few technical and academic talents. Most of the colleges and universities do not set up professional corresponding to LED lighting. According to statistics, the LED lighting industry professionals have a gap of 30,000, and this number is still rising at a rapid rate.

At present, apart from foreign countries, the LED lighting talents are basically transferred from the traditional lighting industry. The downstream lighting is a good one. The core technologies involved are not many, and the transformation is relatively easy to go wrong, but the upper and middle reaches are different. Many new technologies require high standards and there is no professional talent. Problems are inevitable.

OEM standards lag

The phenomenon of OEM in the lighting industry is very serious, including many large brand companies have taken a lot of OEM. According to experts in the lighting industry, “For Philips, the world’s largest lighting manufacturer, the lighting products are basically foundry. In addition, OSRAM and NVC lighting are also foundry. Some large brands were close to nine. to make."

The healthy development of the LED industry can not be separated from product standards and related technologies, but the rapid development of emerging industry technologies has brought problems such as standard formulation and detection technologies.
