[Interpretation] Terrace lighting landscape design of Rotterdam Hospital, Netherlands

The loss of direction in huge buildings is what most people have seen, and the new hospital in Rotterdam South is prone to such a situation. The design team came up with a unique idea to build a terrace 500 meters away from the inner central corridor. Designers focus on the needs of users. The lighting landscape composed of three different themes is the best solution in this context: as a positioning marker, it points to the new development center and also meets the needs of the therapeutic environment. The chic lighting elements emphasize the individuality of each terrace.

Daytime rooftop

The rooftops of the night are in the first two terraces. In addition to the oversized seats, the huge rectangular lighting group achieves a minimalist design, and the night lights illuminate, making it an eye-catching view of the terrace. Above these seats are huge acacia trees that shade people. The latter two gardens chose to use bamboo as the theme to interpret the meaning of modern bamboo garden. A wide variety of bamboos and lawns create the perfect landscape for the huge bamboo lighting scene.

The daytime bamboo looks different in the daytime, and at night it is more glamorous. The soft energy-saving LED lights are constantly changing colors, and the light and shadow attract people's attention, and people want to explore and want to experience.
