With the launch of the GENESYS+ series of programmable power supplies, the standard intelligent parallel function has significantly simplified and accelerated the process of parallel operation compared to previous generations. Previously, users had to manually connect wires to the rear panel J1 connector and use the SW1 dial switch to set up master-slave parallel configurations. Programming the current required dividing the total current by the number of power supplies, which could be time-consuming and prone to errors. Additionally, the overvoltage protection (OVP) value had to be set higher on each unit to avoid false triggering, adding another layer of complexity.
In contrast, the GENESYS+ series eliminates this hassle. Simply connect an 110mm shielded cable from each power supply to the rear panel connector, and the system will automatically detect the connection and configure the settings. The main power supply’s front panel display shows the combined output current, making monitoring more intuitive and efficient.
