During the reporting period, the company achieved operating income of 606 million yuan, an increase of 10.21% over the same period of the previous year; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 27.6 million yuan, down 41.91% over the same period of last year; basic earnings per share was 0.14 yuan.
Maoshuo Power said that during the reporting period, the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies in 2013 decreased by 41.91% compared with the same period of last year, mainly due to:
(1) As the company newly relocated its headquarters office in December 2012, it added new office rent, property management, water and electricity, renovation expenses and depreciation of fixed assets. In addition, the company introduced excellent talents and strengthened management, research and development, and sales. The investment has led to a large increase in expenses during the period.
(2) During the reporting period, the minimum wage standard in Shenzhen was raised and the labor cost increased, resulting in an increase in the manufacturing cost of the product and a decrease in gross profit margin.
