Qi Wei said that in 2011, the main OEM customers were two major American brand factories, one of which was Vizio. It is expected that the order benefits of the two major customers will be fermented in the second half of 2011, which will become the key kinetic energy for the growth of performance.
In 2010, Qiqi’s revenue increased more than 2 times to NT$170 million. In 2011, the company plans to simultaneously sprint indoor and outdoor lighting. It is estimated that annual revenue will grow by about 3 times to 700 million yuan.
According to the company, in the past three years, the terminal price of LED lighting products has dropped by 25%. The current terminal price is about 10 US dollars (Taiwan dollar 300 yuan). It is expected that by the end of 2011, the price will drop by another 15~ 20%, driven by the attractive performance and bright enough brightness at a cheap price, will stimulate the overall LED lighting market demand, and drive Qiqi's performance to have the momentum of the upside.
In the US indoor lighting, the demand for outdoor lighting in the United States declined in the second half of 2010. In 2011, the US outdoor lighting market will have a warming performance in the first half of the year, while in the second half of the year, the phenomenon that indoor LED lights will replace traditional lighting will gradually emerge. It is expected that the overall order status will continue to increase. At present, the overall LED lighting market is still dominated by outdoor lighting, and indoor lighting is expected to show obvious business opportunities in 2Q11.
