Puri Optoelectronics recently announced the expansion of its award-winning RS LED array portfolio to add the industry's highest performance LED products to provide solutions for extremely high lumen applications such as retail store lighting, high ceiling lights, roads, exteriors and industrial lighting.
According to reports, the new RS array breaks the industry's light output performance standards, significantly improving the efficiency while further reducing the cost of solid state light sources (SSL). The array delivers 3500 to 8000 lumens of light output, including a wider range of color temperatures (2700K to 5600K) including warm, neutral and cool white, as well as a variety of color rendering index (CRI) options for high quality lighting. These LED arrays also simplify and accelerate the development of new high-lumen LED products, speeding up the replacement of high-wattage HID lighting products with solid-state lighting, making operations safer and reducing the payback period to two years. These high-flux density sources enable precise illumination that was previously impossible with lower-power solid-state lighting technologies, opening up new markets for solid-state lighting.
