Osram's Hybrid LED, called Brilliant Mix, offers high-end retail products with high color rendering and high light efficiency. However, there are two points to note when adopting this method: 1. Use an optical mixing chamber to improve color consistency; 2. The correlated color temperature will change with temperature. Osram said that the color mixing method is absolutely superior to the overdrive method because the latter causes LED failure.
