2011 Japan Lighting Show held in Tokyo

On March 8th, the 10th Lighting Fair 2011 was grandly opened at the Tokyo Big Sight. It was invited by the organizers of the Japan Lighting Industry Association and vice president and secretary of China Association of Photography. Liu Shengping attended the opening ceremony.

The lighting exhibition occupies two exhibition halls West 1, West 2, thermal components, optical components, manufacturing equipment, testing and inspection equipment, LED components and materials, drive power, LED/OLED Lighting area, a total of 251 companies exhibiting, most of which are Japanese companies, the exhibition also dedicated to the provision of three Chinese exhibition areas, a South Korean exhibition area and a Taiwan area lighting lighting output Guild exhibition area.

The most eye-catching show is the display of new products by the lighting industry giants. In terms of local brands, major manufacturers such as Panasonic, Toshiba, Hitachi, NEC, and Mitsubishi OSRAM all made a high profile appearance, focusing on the display of indoor and commercial lighting end products. LED bulbs, bulbs with large angles of light popular, Panasonic, Toshiba and Hitachi have introduced a light distribution angle of 260 ° to 300 ° bulb, a mode is the three-dimensional configuration of LED chips to meet the light requirements, The other mode is a planar chip, which uses a semi-circular cover to diffuse light to achieve high light distribution. Due to the favor of the market in Japan, all local manufacturers exhibited various kinds of LED tubes on the exhibition stand, among which ROHM has introduced a lamp product that meets the JEL801:2010 standard of the Japan Electric Ball Industry Association. In terms of chip packaging, CITIZEN introduced a module called CITILED at the show, which can directly input AC power into LED modules, eliminating the need for end users to drive power supplies. In terms of featured products, USHIO Electromechanics exhibited LED bulbs and ball-tip bulbs that simulate the light emitting form of incandescent lamps. The approach is to configure the LED chips into an incandescent tungsten filament shape that glows like a tungsten filament when lighted, and 0.6W replaces this product. 10w incandescent lamp.

PHILIPS has followed its usual style. It is a concept of light that is displayed more on the booth; OLED also has a considerable number of exhibits at this exhibition. Kaneka's OLED product reflects the uniform light source and color of the surface light source. Bright and other characteristics, I believe there will be applications in the bar, theme restaurants, room decoration and other aspects.

There are about 40 Chinese companies, mainly from Zhejiang and Guangdong, where Shenghui, Yaming, Yinyu and other companies have larger exhibition booths. The construction is also more meticulous, reflecting attractiveness and conceptuality, and has a better brand display effect. Taiwanese companies are organized by the Taiwan Lighting Industry Association, a total of more than 40, exhibiting mainly LED components, LED modules, LED lamps.

In addition to GE, Toshiba and other small booths with street lighting products on display, other booths include the mainland and Taiwan exhibition areas that were previously eager for this. Street lamp/tunnel lighting products are rare, indicating that global lighting manufacturers are focusing on the development of LED Lighting. Indoor lighting represented by bulbs and tubes.

In various applications in Japan, such as stairways and traffic signals, LED lighting is widely used. But did not see the application of LED street lights / tunnel lights, mainly high-pressure sodium lamps and metal halide lamp-based, in some short-tunnel can see the application of low-pressure sodium lamps, may be due to deal with foggy days considerations. Correspondingly, LED bulbs, lamps, and downlights are widely used in indoor commercial venues such as hotels, office buildings, and shopping malls. According to the situation of the exhibition, with the rapid improvement of LED technology, materials and production processes in the world in the past two years, the pace of LED products entering the field of general lighting has been rapidly accelerated. In particular, LED indoor lighting products have more space for development due to their lower power, more controllability, and easier heat dissipation than outdoor lighting.

There are LED bulbs sold in supermarkets and convenience stores in Japan, mainly Panasonic, Toshiba and NEC brands, priced between 3000-4000 yen. However, according to sellers, sales of LED bulbs are very small. Take Matsushita as an example, the monthly shipments of a head office in Osaka are only about 30; while in a small city, convenience stores can only sell 5 a month. , 6, far lower than the same period with cover CFL and incandescent bulb sales. It can be seen that even in Japan, where the economic level is relatively high, it takes a long time for LED lighting products to enter ordinary home applications.
