It’s been a while since I last heard about Luhan and Guan Xiaoyu from my friends, and it's even less news about my idol Zhao Liying. It's really fun! As a loyal fan of Zhao Liying, I always keep an eye on her latest updates. Recently, she mentioned a projector brand called Nuts, which sounds delicious.
On the National Day holiday, I took advantage of the discounts and bought the Nuts V8. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, when relatives came over, they were curious about this tall TV-like device. They asked a lot of questions: How much does it cost? Is the image clear during the day? How does the sound come out? I explained that it has 1080P resolution, 1100 ANSI lumens, and dual speakers. The edges of the V8 are as smooth as the legs of my sister. I feel this projector is perfect for someone small and delicate. The photos I take with it are always beautiful. (Don’t ask why my sister isn’t in the pictures—there were a lot of pimples around the festival!)
The V8 is compact and lightweight, almost like a small bread machine. When I picked it up, it didn’t feel heavy at all. It’s one of the smaller 1080P projectors on the market, and Nuts describes it as “black and gold, light luxury.â€
When I was taking photos of the V8, my girlfriend asked me to shoot the sides and top cover. Don’t you think those angles look great? The gloss under the sunlight is amazing. Who would put a projector in the sun? Still, the texture of the top cover is vivid and detailed.

Interface richness:
Whether it’s a TV or a projector, before buying, make sure the interfaces meet your needs. At least two USB ports, one HDMI, and a 3.5mm jack are standard. Electric lens door:

Even though the V8 is compact, its image quality, color performance, and sound are all excellent. Next, I’ll give a real, unfiltered review of its performance.
I used it in an 80-square-meter room, projecting a 60-inch screen. The image was clear and comfortable, even during the afternoon when the sun was strong. The clarity and color saturation were better than a cinema screen.
Comparing it to an LCD TV, I prefer the TV for longer movie sessions because it’s easier on the eyes.
When the lights are on, the brightness of the image changes. Even with 1100 ANSI lumens, the image still gets affected by ambient light. But for daytime viewing, it’s more than enough.
Many smart projectors are only 720p, but the V8 reaches 1080p. In larger settings, like a classroom, the difference is clear. I used it to project a PPT for my team, and the image was much better than the 720p projectors in the classroom.
The V8 also supports 4K and 3D, so if you’re into high-resolution content, it’s a solid choice.
Now, let’s talk about the sound. My younger sister listened to FLAC music on the V8 and asked what kind of speaker it had. The sound was soothing and clear. The V8 uses a custom-tuned speaker system that meets HiFi standards. It even outperforms some built-in speakers from well-known brands.
The sound is loud enough that 80% volume might disturb neighbors, and 50% is sufficient for family use. Playing songs like “The Spectre†and “Chengdu†felt immersive, with crisp and clean audio.
The built-in JMGO OS offers access to over 95% of domestic streaming platforms. Movies like “Daddy 3,†“Caribbean 5,†and “Dharma†are available and playable. The interface is intuitive and visually appealing.
The V8 also allows screen mirroring from phones and tablets. A 4.7-inch iPhone screen projected onto a 60-inch screen gives a game experience that’s hard to match on a phone. With the HiFi audio, the gaming experience is enhanced.
The automatic focus feature is a big plus. It makes the setup much smoother compared to manual focus.
Heat dissipation is also impressive. The V8 cools down quickly and operates quietly, similar to a notebook. No need for air conditioning during movie nights.
In conclusion, the Nuts V8 maintains strong sales growth with a luxurious appearance and high-quality build. While 720P content may not show much difference, 1080P content clearly highlights its value. The 1100 ANSI lumens are sufficient for daytime use.
If you're moving into a new home or looking for a versatile projector, the Nuts V8 is a great choice. It's lightweight, easy to move, and offers high resolution and brightness. You won't need to replace it for years.
