By 2014, the *AeroMobil 3.0* was unveiled—a two-seater vehicle powered by a Rotax 912 engine. Its frame, wings, and outer shell were all constructed using advanced composite materials. It could reach a top speed of 124 mph in the air and 99 mph on the ground, with a cruising range of 435 miles in the sky and 545 miles on land—enough to drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles in one go. Powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, the *4.0* also incorporates an electronic differential system, an adaptive transmission, and a full-digital FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) system that sends power to the front wheels.
