The stand-alone capacity is 60 10,000 kilowatt-class, 1 million kilowatt-class nuclear power plants newly built or expanded according to planned capacity, and new or expansion projects with voltage classes of 110 kV to 1,000 kV AC substations and ±500 kV DC converter stations (3 million kilowatts), For integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC), biomass energy, and power plants that exceed the original planned capacity expansion or reconstruction, ±660 kV and ±800 kv DC converter stations can be implemented by reference.
The preparation of this indicator was jointly completed by the China Electric Power Engineering Consulting Group Corporation and its six design institutes and the National Nuclear Power Planning, Design and Research Institute. The promulgation and implementation of the land use index for the construction of electric power projects helped to strengthen the scientific use of land for power engineering projects.
