NXP Announces Full Range of Automotive Ethernet Portfolios

Technical highlights

NXP's Ethernet PHY TJA1100 products support automotive low-power modes by developing automotive-specific technologies. When the engine is off, the system enters sleep mode. At the same time, the Ethernet PHY remains partially turned on and the system wakes up only when there is activity on the network. Unlike conventional solutions, the NXP Ethernet PHY does not require additional components such as voltage regulators to remain on when the engine is off, significantly improving power performance and extending battery life.
