National "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" Semiconductor Lighting Science and Technology Plan Launched

According to the overall arrangement of the 12th Five-Year Plan of the National 863 Plan, and in accordance with the relevant requirements of the “Management Regulations for the Implementation of the National High-Technology Research and Development Plan (863 Program) (Trial)”, the High-Tech Division of the Ministry of Science and Technology was organized in Beijing on September 7, 2010. In the "12th Five-Year Plan" national 863 plan new material field "Efficient semiconductor lighting key materials technology research and development" major project implementation plan feasibility demonstration.
Based on the status quo of China's semiconductor lighting technology development, the project has made specific deployments to the key common technologies for the development of the semiconductor industry's upstream and midstream industries, including cutting-edge technology research and key technologies for industrialization. It has determined the preparation technology for large-size silicon-based white LEDs. , 150lm / W white LED technology research, high reliability and low cost white LED industrial key technology, white light OLED lighting key technologies and other key research tasks. The project focuses on upgrading the international core competitiveness and independent innovation capabilities of China's semiconductor lighting industry, embodying the Outline of the National Medium and Long-Term Scientific and Technological Development Plan (2006-2020) and the National Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Strategic Requirements, in line with the national key support direction. It is of great significance to realize lighting energy saving in China, adjust the structure of traditional lighting industry, and cultivate strategic emerging industries.
In addition to considerations in terms of technology and industrial development, this project will also explore innovations in institutional mechanisms during the implementation process. The 863 project will adopt a variety of organizational methods according to different tasks, give full play to the role of the strategic alliance for technological innovation in the semiconductor lighting industry, and strengthen the substantive cooperation between production, education and research to ensure the smooth implementation of the project. The support plan project will use the semiconductor lighting industry technology and technology innovation strategic alliance as the organizational unit, focus on exploring the operating mechanism and sharing model of the open common technology innovation platform for the enterprises participating in the construction, and establish the enterprise-based, market-oriented, diversified investment and financing.
