Based on the status quo of China's semiconductor lighting technology development, the project has made specific deployments to the key common technologies for the development of the semiconductor industry's upstream and midstream industries, including cutting-edge technology research and key technologies for industrialization. It has determined the preparation technology for large-size silicon-based white LEDs. , 150lm / W white LED technology research, high reliability and low cost white LED industrial key technology, white light OLED lighting key technologies and other key research tasks. The project focuses on upgrading the international core competitiveness and independent innovation capabilities of China's semiconductor lighting industry, embodying the Outline of the National Medium and Long-Term Scientific and Technological Development Plan (2006-2020) and the National Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Strategic Requirements, in line with the national key support direction.
