Design of elevator monitoring system in building automation

At present, China's elevator group control system has been widely used, but the remote monitoring of group-controlled elevators has yet to be researched and developed. Therefore, the remote monitoring of group-controlled elevators is more practical and more representative of the humanized service of contemporary society.

First, the elevator monitoring system overview

The current classification of elevator monitoring systems:

1. At present, most elevator companies at home and abroad have their own monitoring systems, but such monitoring systems are only developed for their respective brands. The various systems are incompatible with each other and are subject to many restrictions in their applications.

2. Network communication monitoring with PLC. PLC can easily form a system. The development of such a system completely eliminates the cost of hardware development. As long as the software development is mature, the installation can be started, and the system generally adopts a standard communication interface, which easily forms a network with other intelligent devices of the building. But the cost is higher. But as the price of PLC drops, it is also a good way.

3. Using a single-chip microcomputer to form an independent sampling communication unit to form a secondary monitoring system. The initial development cost (including hardware and software) of this type of monitoring is high, but after the system is formed, the cost of resale is very low. However, due to the small market, it is difficult to form a scale, and the system does not use standard accessories, and it is difficult to maintain in the future. It can be seen that the above methods are not an ideal form.

Second, the elevator monitoring system design

(1) The structure and principle of the elevator monitoring system

The structure of the elevator operation monitoring system is shown in Figure 1. It mainly includes a central dispatching unit, an acquisition unit, a transmission bus and a field controller. The utility model is characterized in that: 1 the central dispatching unit is responsible for realizing the group control function of the elevator (by learning, using and acquiring the experience knowledge, that is, the self-learning of the system, and then adopting a certain deployment strategy according to the current state information of each elevator, Using an algorithm to analyze which elevator responds to the call will give the elevator system the best performance, and then assign this signal to the corresponding controller); 2 data acquisition unit is mainly responsible for the collection of elevator state information; 3 bus for central scheduling Unit and acquisition unit and remotely monitored data transmission.

Design of elevator monitoring system in building automation

The focus here is on the communication between the elevator system and the monitoring center, as well as the specific implementation of the monitoring system in the upper computer. The remote monitoring of the elevator system is generally realized in the Building Automation System (BAS). Of course, it can also be integrated with the Building Management System (BAS) for remote monitoring through the interface provided by the elevator system.

Design of elevator monitoring system in building automation

What kind of communication between the elevator controller and the BA system is the key to realize remote monitoring. The elevator system provides RS232 or RS485 interface, etc., directly to the monitoring center, it will be limited by RS232 or RS485 transmission distance, although RS485 to TCP is realized through the conversion module. /IP conversion can realize long-distance transmission, but when there are many elevators, especially when the distance between the buildings is far away, the wire will be wasted. Therefore, the advantages of each dispatching machine before networking and then to the monitoring center are particularly prominent, such as Figure 2 and Figure 3. Of course, in this case, the data transmission can be carried out by means of the optical fiber of the integrated line. The weak electric system borrows the fiber of the integrated wiring, and it will also be a development direction of the weak building system of the intelligent building.
