5 years after deploying cloud computing

IDC manufacturers must talk about cloud computing, cloud computing has become the standard IDC vendors, but most industry insiders expect that this market will not mature until 5 years later.

Recently, the bosses and experts who attended the 5th Annual China IDC Industry Annual Meeting discussed most of the cloud computing. People in IDC are generally optimistic about the future development of cloud computing, but there are still differences in the development of domestic cloud computing at this stage.

It is understood that IDC operators such as China Wanwang, Xinwang Interconnect, Century Internet, Lanyin, and Cyberspace are investing in establishing cloud computing centers. Gartner recently stated that cloud computing ranks second in the ranking of IT users who are most concerned with important technologies in 2010.

According to Guo Yike, cloud computing center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, cloud computing itself is the integration process of Internet resources. In the process of integration, a cluster of servers and professional servers is formed. IDC should be the first point of any cloud computing start. In order to cloudize IDC, first, it is necessary to make the calculations more flexible; second, it is necessary to make the resources dynamic; and third, the consumption patterns must be used immediately.

Guo Yi Ke said that although Amazon is still using technology five years ago, China currently does not have a cloud service provider that monopolizes the country like Amazon. At present, all local governments are investing in establishing cloud computing centers, but their models are debatable. Guo Yike believes that China needs to build a "cloud portal," and "we need to make clouds and put all the horses inside." You should join IDC to construct a cloud instead of doing countless Amazons.

However, from the current market, IDC companies only include cloud computing as a technology-enhancing business. Dr. Liu Jiangtao, vice president of data of CDN, IT outsourcing, disaster recovery, cloud computing and other major business centers, told reporters that although IDC companies are most suitable for cloud computing, they still do not expect that cloud computing will bring profits. Because cloud computing itself still has deficiencies, it is difficult for customers to tolerate it if it is used commercially. IDC companies should use low-cost, zero-charge strategies to attract customers.

China Van Net CTO Fan Chunying also holds the same view. He believes that China's cloud computing is currently in a barbaric growth stage, and it will take a long time to achieve industrialization and scale. At present, most of the domestic cloud computing is in the IaaS phase, which is the basic service layer of cloud computing. It is mainly to solve the ills of IDC, making it more economical and convenient. The SaaS concept has entered the Chinese market somewhat earlier than cloud computing, and there are many domestic companies offering SaaS services, but their demand is still not strong enough. Fan Chunying believes that many domestic SMEs mainly consider ordering problems. Before solving corporate survival problems, business management will not be the problem they are most eager to solve.

Fan Chunying said that compared with foreign countries, the domestic platform-level cloud computing services are still very weak, and there are still distances from commercial use. The goal of China Wanwang is to build cloud computing platform-level services through super station vehicles, DreamWorks, and corporate post offices. In 2011, China Wanwang plans to open up cloud computing rooms in Beijing, Hangzhou and Qingdao.

However, some companies think that the current direction of cloud computing is wrong. Xu Liwei, chairman of Power All, believes that the current cloud computing is just "new bottled old oil." Cloud computing companies are desperately making money and forming incompatible island clouds.

Xu Liwei believes that cloud computing is like a blind person touching images. The standards of the cloud are not uniform, and it is difficult to create subversive applications and values. The late start of cloud computing in China is not necessarily a bad thing. Cloud computing should implement cloud Lianyun by using protocols instead of interfaces. And in this way, it forms a third-tier Internet service based on data interconnection and Web presentation.

Although the parties are quite different, Xie Weigang, strategic market director of Schneider Electric's IT division Greater China, believes that the current situation of cloud computing is not good, virtualization will make the data center more and more dense, and data processing, bandwidth, storage will also be Correspondingly, these will provide opportunities for energy-saving and emission-reducing peripheral service companies.
