The market potential of UV-A and UV-C bands is the largest. From the perspective of the manufacturing technology of LED components, the shorter the wavelength, the harder it is to do. Compared with the current competition of blue LED dies, it is difficult to make crystals of UVLED. The technical threshold is more than 10 times difficult, especially for short-wavelength manufacturers, which can be solved by saving money or digging corners.

However, LED light sources are single-wavelength and straight-through, while traditional UV lamps are multi-wavelength, which also increases the threshold for UV-A LEDs to enter the market. When the UV-A LED is to replace the lamp, since the original printing ink is designed according to multiple wavelengths, the single wavelength must first be mixed, and the light intensity, illumination distance, uniformity, etc. need to be considered as a whole.
