According to the relevant person in charge of the project construction unit, the total length of the section of the submarine tunnel that needs to be illuminated all year round is about 7,800 meters, including the enhanced lighting and middle section lighting of the tunnel entrance and exit. At present, the technical specifications of high-power LED lighting fixtures for tunnels have not yet been formed in the world. In order to ensure the quality of the underwater lighting of the submarine tunnel, the relevant departments have made detailed requirements on the technical indicators of the lamps used in the tunnel during the bidding stage. The LED devices require the use of low thermal resistance, good heat dissipation and low stress packaging structure. The service life is not less than 30,000 hours. The service life of the lamps is more than 15 years, and all lamps and related devices must reach the domestic first-class level. Tunnel luminaires are expected to be fully installed in February 2011.
