At present, China's lighting power consumption accounts for about 12% of the total power generation. It is mainly based on inefficient lighting, and the problem of high power consumption is quite serious. In some developed countries, energy-saving lamps account for 80%-90% of lighting sources, so lighting Saving electricity has become an important aspect of energy conservation.

Some experts said that if China's existing ordinary incandescent lamps are all replaced with energy-saving lamps, the country can save more than 60 billion kWh a year, close to the annual power generation of the Three Gorges Power Station.

However, the status quo of China's lighting energy conservation is still quite severe, energy-saving awareness and actions have not yet been popularized, and the promotion and use of energy-saving lamps in China is not satisfactory. To change this dilemma, the author believes that the government should make a difference.

First, eliminate backward energy-saving lamps and keep the industry healthy. At present, there is no technical difference between Chinese and foreign brands in the production of energy-saving lamps. However, some energy-saving lamp products on the market do not save money for consumers. Because of the inferior energy-saving lamps, the energy-saving lamps that are particularly cheap on the market are mostly halogen powder lamps. Not good. The cost of the trichromatic phosphor is more than 20 times that of the halogen powder. The real three primary color lights are three or forty yuan, which can be used for two or three years, but no one buys because of the high price. The enterprises that produce inferior products give the dealers more profits, which makes the formal enterprises inferior in the competition.

Secondly, consumers are encouraged to use high-quality energy-saving lamps by sending coupons. It is understood that some developed countries have no incandescent light bulbs. One of the measures to achieve this result is policy compensation, which not only compensates enterprises for developing low-cost, long-life energy-saving lamps, but also compensates families who purchase energy-saving lamps. In this way, consumers will not be worried about saving energy and saving money.

Furthermore, help companies actively promote energy-saving lamps. At present, the domestic circulation system has also caused obstacles in the promotion of domestic brands of energy-saving lamps. Many large supermarkets charge 80%-100% of the ex-factory price for energy-saving lamps. This makes the domestic brands with insufficient funds forced to transfer to the building materials market. The Chinese brand energy-saving lamps in supermarkets are hard to find, but they are strong. The high-priced foreign brands are “unifying the rivers and lakes”. As an ordinary family, in order to replace an energy-saving lamp, it is inconvenient and unrealistic to go to a special lighting market to buy a cheap domestic brand. To this end, the relevant departments should proceed from the height of energy conservation and environmental protection, and stipulate that the entry fee for the domestic energy-saving lamps collected by the supermarket should not exceed 20% of the ex-factory price of the products.

To resolve contradictions, technology is important, and institutions are always more important than technology. It is not enough to rely on the call for energy conservation. We need “energy saving” in order to mobilize the enthusiasm of consumers to use energy-saving lamps.
