Three worm gear reducer use matters

The three major problems that cannot be ignored with worm gear reducers are as follows:

The user orders the reducer series products from the reducer manufacturer according to the actual demand, but some attentions in the use process are often neglected, which eventually leads to the damage of the reducer and the degradation of its performance. So what are some of the considerations for use that need to be understood? The explanations are as follows:

1. It is forbidden to knock hard:

When coupling elements such as couplings, pulleys, sprockets, etc., are attached to the output shaft of the speed reducer, direct hammering cannot be used. Because the structure of the output shaft of the reducer can't bear the axial hammering, screw in the shaft end screw can be used to press into the coupling.

2, be sure to install the vent cap (ie, exhaust screw plug):

Make sure to replace the plug on the top of the gear box with the degassing plug when using the decelerator, and replace the plug on the degassing plug to ensure that the decelerator will produce the gas generated by the inner body of the decelerator during operation. Otherwise, under the condition that the reducer is working for a long time, the longer the working time of the gas in the deceleration box is, the longer the working time will increase, and the higher the temperature will lead to the expansion of the oil seal of the decelerator, resulting in oil leakage failure of the decelerator.

3, the replacement of lubricants:

The user determines the amount of lubricant oil to be injected according to the size of the reducer model. This is specifically stipulated, and the specific operation should follow the instructions of the reducer. If you put the gearbox in a work environment with harsh environment, high temperature and dust, please be sure to check or replace the oil every 12 days.
